The Lincoln Theatre Guild has been Lincoln County's home for community theater since 1981. This is the place to support local theater, whether you are an actor, director or just someone who loves to watch a good play. 2011-2012 season Southern-Fried Dinner Theatre - a night of Southern food, comedy and live music Featuring Y'all, a comedy in one act by Elizabeth Scales Rheinfrank -- February 9-11 and 16-18, 7:00p.m. at the Lincoln Cultural Center. FREE tickets are available to Lincoln County senior citizens for a show on February 12 at 3:00. This show will not include a meal. Tickets are only available to seniors aged 60 and above and are required for admission. Tickets are available at the Lincoln County Senior Center. Only seniors and their caregivers will be allowed admission. This show was made possible through a generous grant from the Arts Council of Lincoln County. They will learn all about acting, set design and construction, stage management and other aspects of theatre. The week will culminate in a showcase performance at the Lincoln Cultural Center, where family and friends will have the opportunity to see the work the students have done at camp. Students rising 2nd grade through 12th grade are welcome to attend – no experience necessary! Ages 15-18 can be considered for Junior Director roles as well, drama experience is preferred. Cost: $110.00 per camper per week. Final day to register is JULY 2, 2012. |
